I started my new job this week, which is downtown, and which means it's cheaper to take the bus than park. Now, typically, I start to feel nauseous if I try to read on the bus, and if I fool around with my phone, I'm wasting data. So instead, on the way to work, I've been sewing!
I haven't done much, since it's a relatively short bus ride, but so far, I've added in the back "blouse" panels on the Rapunzel bodice, and sewed a shoulder seam on the 1860s handsewn bodice. Other than that, I haven't done any sewing this week. The next step on Rapunzel is to put in the zipper, so I'm procrastinating. But I've decided to not let myself leave the house on Saturday if I haven't put it in. So I better get to it! Once that's done, it's just sleeves, and tacking the lace around the edges. In other news, this is the last weekend of Man of la Mancha - just four shows left. :( Then Tuesday, I start rehearsals for Fiddler on the Roof. No rest for the weary!
