I worked on my Little Red smocking on the bus and at rehearsal yesterday, and I've now finished about 8x3." I used this tutorial, and it's worked quite well. It's easy to do, and doesn't feel tedious (yet), and it comes out looking quite pretty. I'm working with my dots spaced 1" apart, and I think it will give me the right look of the decorative front of her bodice. Of course, I have a long way to go!

aww looks so pretty! I love smocking, time consuming but the texture is very rich!
