We had a small turnout at the Easter Bonnet Picnic today (aka four, including myself), but it was still really fun. My boyfriend and I were the only ones there for about an hour, but we ate our food, and once we were just about finished, Deborah arrived. And right as we were about to leave to walk around the park (which I believe is the largest park in Seattle), we had the fourth join us. We had a lovely walk for probably at least an hour, stopping to take pictures at the bluff overlooking Puget Sound, and at some of the historical buildings (Discovery Park used to be some sort of base, with barracks and other buildings still sitting mostly vacant around the park). Luckily, Deborah had brought her camera, because apparently my charger decided not to work last night.

And best news of all, as of about 30 minutes before we left, I finished my Seaside Bustle! And actually, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. I might be tempted to add a little trim to it before wearing it at CosCol, but it looked nice, and it handled walking all through the park quite well. Unfortunately, on literally the last step before arriving at my door after the event, I somehow managed to catch my heel in the eyelet fabric of my skirt, and rip a pretty good-sized hole in it. I'm sure I can patch it, but it's quite annoying!

Anyway, here's the pictures. All photos taken by Deborah.
