Wig!

I decided to be stupid and stay up way too late to work on the wig. I haven't tried it on yet (and I seriously don't know how I'm going to get this monstrosity to stay on my head), but assuming it fits, all it needs now is powdering and copious amounts of hairspray.

Thanks! I've done a little bit of wig styling before, but I've never done anything where I had to make the interior structure, or sew in extra wefts of hair to a wig. So Kendra's book was super helpful!

And for it staying on the head, I like to sew in the inside edge of the wig (front and sides, 3-4pcs) those little comb clips from modern clip on hair extensions. I got bunch from my sister who instead sew on the extensions she had, but I think you can buy them on their own as well.
They are quite secure if you have own hair to clip them on.. May not be historically accurate, but never had a wig fall out of head :)
