Business Postcards

I'm thinking about creating some business postcards, since I would like to really get into creating costumes to sell to other people, but I don't really know what I should put on them. Thus, if anyone an help me, I'm going to post pictures of what I think are my best projects, and if you can all vote on what should go on there, that would be really helpful. Unfortunately, I don't have about half the costumes with me right now, so I'm not able to retake pictures of any but the 17th c gown, the medieval, the navy ren gown, and the chemise a la reine (and it would involve finding someone to take the pictures, since I know the bathroom mirror ones aren't particularly professional).

The pic of the navy and gold gown next to the water is very pretty! And I think the 17thc would be stunning in a nice setting. (I hear you on the bathroom mirror photos! ;) )

Also gotta give you credit for thinking about selling costumes; I'm far too terrified that I'm actually a crap seamstress to ever entertain that idea! (What self-esteem issues?)

I totally understand the self-esteem issues. I feel like I know very little, because I teach myself new things with every project, and there is still sooo incredibly much I don't know. I would love to go back and get a masters in costume production at some point, but that's probably a long way off.

My mom keeps harping on me about the cards, though. She basically said whenever I get a complement on my garb at a ren faire, I should give them a card and tell them I can make something like that for them, too. I think she's crazy. It was stressful enough making the frock coat for my dad (3000 miles away) let alone a stranger paying me money!

And thanks - I think that dock picture is one of my favorite pics of me of all time.
