Oct. 4th, 2014 12:47 amProgress continues on both Rapunzel and Miss Pettigrew. On the bus today, I finished attaching the lace around the neck, and finished half the lace around the hem for Rapunzel.
Then when I got home, I got to work on Miss Pettigrew. The bodice pieces are serged and assembled. I wound up taking 5" out of the center back -it was way too huge. I think I'm also going to have to take out about 1.5" at the tops of the side seams, too. I made 10 buttonholes and 10 fabric-covered buttons, and attached 9 of them (one is in the way of the neck). I also cut out/interfaced/serged a waistband for the skirt, but I need to go buy a zipper before I can attach it. And I cut out/interfaced the collar/tie, before I realized that I cut it at least 6" too short, so I have to recut that one tomorrow. I feel like I'm in a pretty good place - I just how I don't have any sleevils tomorrow!
