(no subject)

I got a lot of sewing done on my commission today. The jacket is basically done, though I need to go buy some twill tape for a waist stay, and stitch over the basting stitches to set the sleeves in. Then it's on to the belt, and I think that's it!

I haven't done any new work on the orange gala gown, though. Mostly because I started reading a really good book, and decided I had to finish it. For anyone who is obsessive about Harry Potter, I highly recommend Fangirl, by Rainbow Rowell. I feel like it really encompassed a lot about how I felt (or still feel) about Harry Potter, especially when the last book was coming out (even though my fan-fiction phase was very brief and really only took place around OotP). But anyway, it was really good.
