The Final Photoshoot!

I had my fourth and final photoshoot for my 17-look etsy princess line today! And I was good about actually editing and posting all the pictures the day of the shoot, which means all my etsy listings are already updated!

New hair

And, as promised, a bad selfie of my new hair. I'm still getting used to it - I sort of have a slight shock every time I look in a mirror. I did appreciate sticking a red headband in my hair and feeling like Snow White (while wearing my Ariel skirt - whoops!). I just straightened it today, but I think I might try to do a pin curl set tomorrow.



Oh, and I'm apparently still procrastinating starting my kids Victorian dress, now that the Disney dresses are finished. I think part of that is that I've been really wanting to stash-bust/try out a few retro patterns I've picked up semi-recently that I could wear for summer, and the other part is that I am just reluctant to start. Also, although Butterick surprisingly out-of-printed the two kids Civil War-era patterns recently (despite how new they were!), they are currently having a sale on their website, and the out of print patterns are $1.99. I really wanted to use those patterns for scale, so I purchased them today, and hopefully they'll be here sometime soon. But I really do need to start on all that - at the very least I should begin the pantalettes and petticoat!

That said, I'm partway through altering a retro Butterick pattern instead.
