I finished both of my parents' presents while waiting for my flight to CA (it helped that the airport wifi was broken), and they both really loved their gifts. I was gifted a lovely vintage hat box and vintage hemming kit, as well as some money for my Europe trip, which will be very helpful. It was a nice few days in CA, but now I'm back in WA and itching to sew. Unfortunately/fortunately, I got an Anna playdress order yesterday, so that comes first. I started on it last night, but didn't have fabric in the stash for the skirt, so I'll be picking that up on the way home today so that I can send it out tomorrow. I also have to make my roommate's belated Christmas present (a Harry Potter skirt), and I'm hoping I can knock that out tonight as well. That means that I can spend this three-day weekend working on stuff for me! Though as much as I want to dive right into historical sewing, I know the winter coat really has to come first.
