theladyrebeccaI did a little more sewing before 2017 ended. I made my roommate her Christmas present Harry Potter skirt on Friday after work. And then on Saturday, I mocked up my winter jacket, did a couple of alterations, and started cutting it out. I finished cutting out all the body pieces (both in the wool and the lining) on Sunday, and completed the CB seam before leaving for a New Year's party.
I was going to sew more yesterday, but my roommate got me a 1500 piece Disney Villain jigsaw puzzle for Christmas, which I started on Saturday, and I'm having trouble focusing on anything else while that's out on the dining room table. Plus I need my table clear for game night on Friday. So right now, the jigsaw puzzle is winning out over sewing. I think I'm more than halfway done at this point, though, so I'm hoping maybe I can finish it tonight. Then it's back to the jacket.
