theladyrebeccaI made the ballgown bodice mockup today, and it got me thinking - how did the Victorians deal with those low, off the shoulder necklines? I feel like all the Victorian chemises I've seen have relatively high necks, and somewhat wide straps. And certainly, that's the kind of Victorian chemises and corset covers that I have. So what did they wear underneath?
