theladyrebeccaI drove all over today in order to locate everything I needed to make the court gown wig. Geez, this wig is expensive! But I got all the pieces (Home Depot, Sally Beauty - though most of that purchase was for other looks - another hair piece store, and Joanns). Then I got to work while watching Half Blood Prince this evening. So far, I've made 5 buckles (wasting about half a braid of hair in the process) and I sewed four layers of weaving hair into the back of my wig. For anyone else with Kendra's book, I'm doing a look that will be very similar to the Dorothee. I'd really love to finish it by tomorrow night, because then all I'll have to worry about is making the new bloomers and packing.
