Jul. 29th, 2015 11:24 amWell, the list has certainly gotten smaller, but it's not complete. I haven't started packing at all, which makes me quite nervous. I was really worried last night, too, because I still had quite a bit of sewing left to do, but I accidentally woke up 10 mins early today, giving me enough time to sew my bustle pads together. And then on the bus, I sewed the hooks and eyes on my bathing suit skirt, and tacked the bows onto the bathing suit bloomers. I have also made an extensive packing list. I hope I'm not forgetting anything! I really want to try to get home, (drop stuff off at the library), and then get everything done super fast, and go to bed early, because I have to wake up by 4am (if not earlier) tomorrow. But if packing goes well, I'm even thinking I might be able to get that reticule done! So excited for tomorrow!
Need to do:
-pack
-bar on Little Red at neck
-h&e's on bustle skirt-tack bustle tapes in place I did the ones I already had pinned, but I remember wanting to add two more, and I even have a pinned spot where one wanted to go. So I might add them...-make bathing suit belt
-make bathing suit hat
-make/paint bathing suit scarf
-mark bathing suit skirt hem. -hem bathing suit skirt. I haven't decided yet whether I'm doing this by hand or by machine-make sleeve supports-dye hair
-drop off sewing machine and archery dress hat
-tack bow on bathing suit hat
-tack bows on bathing suit bloomers
-pick up 2 packages skirt hooks at Joanns
-h&e's on bustle overskirt-h&e's on bathing suit skirt
-sew petal bum pad to regular bum pad so they don't have to be pinned-figure out hair for bustle gown
If time:
-take in gala gown at the top of the CB closure, so that my roommate doesn't have to pin me in
-tack zipper edges down in Little Red
-make world's fastest reticule for bustle gown, because I have nothing that matches a green dress
