Quilting Flynn
Oct. 23rd, 2015 10:36 amI started in on quilting the Flynn Doublet last night. I got most of the fronts quilted, plus the collar, and I marked and started quilting on the back. I also attached the back flange. The quilting is doing a good job at holding most of the facing in place, so the only part that I had to whip by hand was around the back of the collar (since there's no quilting above the back flange). I know I'll have to tack the back flange down at least in the CB, if not in a couple more places, since it quite wants to flip up, but that's not a big deal.
I wound up having to run out to Joanns yesterday, because I had run out of thread , so I didn't get quite as far as I would have liked, but I feel like I'm in an okay place at this point. I'm kind of hoping that I might be able to finish everything besides the clasps by tonight! Though I do have to figure out where those studs got to....
