(no subject)

I did get to sew for about an hour last night after I got home from rehearsal, and before I had to go to bed. I attached the facing for the waist flanges and for the front/neck opening of the doublet, turned them, and pinned them all in place. I was going to stitch all the edges down by hand, but I realized that there's a good chance that the quilting will hold the facings in place everywhere except the upper back (where there is no quilting). So tonight I'm going to start on the quilting. I'll probably do the quilting on the front, then attach the back flange, then quilt the back, and then pattern/cut/attach the armseye flanges. I just hope it all comes out alright!

Oh, also, it is officially one week till we leave for Disney World!!!!
