theladyrebeccaKind of failed with my sewing goals today, since I wound up taking a nap in the middle of the day. But I did get all the guards sewn onto the kirtle bodice, and about 1/4 of one guard on the skirt. That's it, though, so that means I have to finish the skirt guard, cartridge pleat/attach to the bodice, and add either hooks and eyes or hidden lacing tape to the bodice. All tomorrow. Luckily, I'm dog-sitting all day, so I'm basically forced to not leave the house. I hope the dogs don't mind if I spend the whole day sewing! And even still, I highly doubt I'll have enough time to add that second guard to the skirt. Oh well - I'll do it for later.
On the plus side, I did also take the time to finish unpacking from CoCo! So at least I can check that off my list. :)
