theladyrebeccaI finished binding the sleeve hems on the commission yesterday, which means it's now at a wearable state. I will probably bring it with me to Vegas next week if I have room in my bag, so that I can handsew some of the trim on if I have any downtime.
Of course, I'm also tempted to see if I can mockup and cut out a little sleeveless spencer on Sunday. Because then maybe I'd have something new I'd be able to wear to the ball next Saturday. Of course, I have rehearsals both days this weekend, so if I'm honest with myself, I probably don't have time to even think about doing this.
And tonight I'm hosting my Halloween party! I had planned to wear the burgundy Elizabeth Swann dress, but I'm not sure I want to be sitting around in stays all evening. Maybe I should start in that, and I can always duck out and do a costume change partway through if I need something more comfortable. Because honestly, I don't know that Snow White would be any more comfortable, and that was my second choice...
