theladyrebeccaI feel like it's a bad sign that when I went to make the subject of this post "I'm Still Here" I found I had already used that. But I am. Still here, that is. On the other hand, I have done absolutely no sewing since I last posted 10 days ago. (Okay, that's not 100% true - I refurbished an old t-strap character shoe into one with no t-strap, and then painted it black. But that's it). On the other hand, I started rehearsals for Pirates of Penzance, which is on top of my Go Dog Go rehearsals app. 6 days/week, plus nannying app 5 days/week. So I am keeping busy. Plus last week, in gearing up for the Golden Globes, I was trying to see as many movies as possible. I still need to see The Descendants, but at this point, I've seen almost every other nominated movie that has made it to theatres by now (no thanks to you, Albert Nobbs, or W.E., who I don't think should be allowed to be considered as movies from 2011).
But anyway, Go Dog Go opens next Tuesday morning. Which basically means I probably won't have any more sewing done until after it closes in Feb. And then I leave mid-Feb to spend a week in Seattle. So much for attempting to finish the entire 1869 ensemble before my sari arrives for the 1912 gown. At this point, I'll be lucky if I've even finished the cage crinoline and/or petticoat!
