I'm suffering from a mild case of CADD, mixed with lack of time. It's making me not very productive. On the other hand, I've come up with an idea of sorts for the pre-CosCol Disneyland trip which [Poll #1888814]

As far as the robe a la turque goes, I've assembled the outer overbodice pieces and the skirts of the robe, and have cut out almost all of the pieces for both bodices - all I have left to cut out are the straps, and the the interlining for the back and side back pieces.

My thoughts? Red top section in blue, blue bodice with no yellow on it, blue skirt. Line the skirt in yellow so you just get the odd cheeky glimpse as you move.

Give it a circular skirt and a yellow Alice Lon petticoat with a red ribbon edge?

Ooh, I love the idea of the yellow with red edge petticoat! Thanks - that's brilliant!

I agree, great idea to add a petticoat! Besides, it's not 1950s without a lot of petticoat-age anyway.

I don't want to put a spanner in the works, but I have heard that disney don't let people in if they are dressed too much like the characters. It's the reason I have opted for a disney print dress when I head to Disneyland later this month.

It's a great idea though and I love the snow white version. :)

Yeah, that's Disney's policy, and that's exactly went I don't want it to look like a costume. I'm wanting something Snow White-inspired, not a 50s version of Snow.
