I know I've posted about a couple of these recently, but here are my current goals for this year:

1. 1831 Archery dress (still haven't decided whether it will be wool or silk)
2. 1829 Orange ballgown (kind of peeved that they posted my inspiration plate in the new Squeals, but I'm not changing my mind since I already have all the fabric)
3. Corded petticoat to go with both of the above dresses (already started)
4. 1830s bathing suit (I need to find black and white plaid cotton- why is that so hard!)
5. Professor Trelawney artistic reform gown for the CosCol Ice Cream Social
6. Daniel Deronda riding habit (already have the fabric)
7. Little Red costume from Into the Woods
8. Striped silk bustle gown. (Or maybe a sack-back. I found silk at Hancocks today for $8/yd, and I'm determined to not let it sit in the stash.)

Edit: I almost forgot! Also on my list is my handsewn 1860s gown. At this point, I'm still determined to do this fully handsewn, so who knows when/if I'll ever finish it. If I let myself do it by machine, I'm sure I would have finished it months ago...

Here are some pictures of my inspirations:

Does the bathing suit say it's cotton? If not, maybe try looking for wool. That's definitely a pattern I've seen in wool suiting from time to time. Most of the extant ones I'm aware of are wool, too, and people who've gone swimming say that the wool works better and its more comfortable than cotton. So maybe that'll be easier to find than cotton, too!

I've looked a little bit for it as wool, but haven't found the right plaid there either. I'm also worried about the cost of wool. I'm probably not going to actually swim in this one, since there is soooo much fabric in it, even compared to my Victorian bathing suit, but even so, the cotton flannel I used for my Edwardian suit worked out really well.

Haha I just pinned a very similar green archery dress from 1829 - they're quite wonderful, aren't they? And I also have a secret board going of dresses similar to Little Red's from Into the Woods, with a bit of inspiration from Young Azkadellia's blue finaqua dress from Tin Man. Now I'm really looking forward to seeing your creations!
