Most of today was spent packing, but when I went to Joanns to get more covered button refills, I also picked up some Disney fabric, since I wanted another Disney skirt to wear to Disneyland this week. I picked out some of the smocked fabric because it seemed really cute with it's two layers, but honestly, I probably won't go that route again. It shrank a lot in the wash, and so was just barely long enough. Also, that much smocking is really unflattering at the waist, so I think I took out half the rows. On the other hand, all I had to do besides remove a few rows was to sew up one seam, and flip over the top to make a casing for elastic. So super nice and easy, and it is cute!

I'm almost completely packed. All the costume stuff is in, and if I'm really careful, I think I can even manage to fit my Regency hat in my carry-on (though I'm a bit worried about the feathers, and am debating if it's worth it to unstitch them from the hat, and restitch them once I get there). I just hope I'm not forgetting anything!
