I don't feel like I was all that productive this year, probably since the early candy bustle wound up taking up soooo much of my time, but I did make a fair bit leading up to CosCol.

January
Nothing at all.

February
-I finally finished the elliptical cage crinoline right before the end of the month.

March
-The teens corset

-The 1911 walking skirt (and belt, though that hardly counts)

April
-The teens evening gown wound up becoming a UFO, since I put that aside.
-I painted my American Duchess Devonshire shoes:

-My teens-era princess slip:

I also hosted my Tea and Titanic event, which was a nice success.

May
-I moved to Seattle! I found a job!
-The early bustle petticoat, and skirt:

-The Edwardian bathing suit:

June
-The apron drape and sash of the candy bustle, which I don't have separate pictures of.

July
-The candy bustle is finally complete! Finished off the trimmings of the bodices, which was all that was left, plus decorated a new hat for it:

-Vintage Vogue 1950s dress:

-1890s bathing suit:

-My 1850s ballgown bodice and overskirt, which goes with my Dickens skirt:

-I also did a lot of alterations to take in all the pieces of the Jane costume, before I could wear it at CosCol.

August
Costume College! Which explains why I did so many projects in July. :)

-The fairytale toile dress:

September
-I finished up the edges of my Ravenclaw scarf that I made almost two years ago (I think?), and painted a Ravenclaw patch for my Harry Potter trivia night.

October
-I got a new job!
-The fancy dress monarch butterfly costume, which included the butterfly corset, modifying the blouse, making a bum pad, making the underskirt and overskirt, and modifying the wings:

November
-The pink 1780s stays (which I started back in Sept). I'm calling them done, even though technically, I still need to do a few eyelets on the straps.

-18th c Quilted petticoat:

December
-Riding Habit skirt (I also have much of the bodice done):

-Robe a la Turque skirt:

-a mockup for my mom's Edwardian bodice
-painting my new American Duchess Kensingtons

My goals for 2012 were:
-a black knee length skirt. I didn't make one, but I bought one!
-the 1869 Pink Candy Striped Early Bustle Gown. Completed!
-Titanic gown. I started one, but I never finished it. The skirt is done, and the bodice is partially done. Now it's languishing as a ufo.
-Teens-era corset. Completed!
-Ballgown bodice for my black and gold plaid Dickens dress. Completed!
-Late Victorian jacket for my mom. She decided she wanted an Edwardian one instead. I've fitted the mockup to her, but haven't actually started the final jacket.
-Late Victorian bathing suit. Completed!
-18th c Robe a la Turque. Not for 2012, but I've finally started it!
-18th c quilted petticoat. Completed!
-1780s-style red wool Riding Habit. Started, but not yet finished.
-18th c red wool cloak. Nope, not yet.
-a Victorian waistcoat for my dad for Dickens. Nope, but I'll do it this year!
-18th c mitts. Nope.
-Regency corset. I didn't get into the CosCol class last year. We'll see if I can manage one on my own before this year's CosCol.
-Regency day dress. Nope.
-Regency overgown. Nope.

Overall, not too bad.

Such lovely lovely things you made! You look so gorgeous in them, too. I especially love the elegant pic with the parasol-- perfect!

I adore that picture of you in the 1911 outfit. You should put it on canvas.
